Best Gift Ever

Weddings are such a magical time in one’s life. My good friend was getting married last winter, but she lacked the funds for a grand wedding. In order to help her out, I said that I would take her pictures. She was beyond happy that I would offer to do this. However, she was one of my best friends in college; it was the least I can do. The only thing she was not happy about was that I would not be in the wedding party. I told her that I could still take pictures with the wedding party if she really wanted, but that it was not necessary. Besides, I do not have money for a dress, gifts, and a shower! Offering my services to her as Perth Photographer helps me save money in the long run. In fact, it may even get me more clients if other people like what they see once I post them on my page.

I arrived on time to all of the functions. In order to get a really great shot at a wedding, people need to feel comfortable around you. Luckily as a friend, people already know you! It is like they think you are taking pictures for your own social media profile and not a wedding. It is important that you take advantage of this because it can get people to relax and have better pictures. I suggested that my friend buy some cheap disposable cameras for guests to take pictures of the event. We got them developed and many of the pictures turned out great! I did not have the money to print out any of the photos myself. However, I gave her a CD of the pictures and she took them to the local photo developer for quotes on portrait sized pictures. She said this was the best present ever!
